Signal Hill Petroleum provided the speaker, funds and follow-up legwork to complete this year's outreach activities for Signal Hill Elementary. A donation of $500 wascontributed to the school's general funds in care of the Principal, Ms. Nancy Nakagawa. Individual achievement certificates were also presented to each participating 4th grade class. Each of the 5 classes completed one poster reflecting the general theme of the importance of petroleum in every day life. Several essays were also submitted, and all classes reported that the experience was educational and worthwhile repeating in subsequent years.

Signal Hill Elementary classes worked as a team to create posters & essays showing uses of petroleum in our daily lives.
